The Fox and The Mouse Wedding Video

Hello fellow readers. I'm so terribly sorry for the sporadic updates the past week or so, full time work had been chaotic and at the same time we were preparing for a close friend's wedding on Tuesday, 21st February. (21022012, get it?) It was my first time being a bridesmaid and being the inexperienced bunch, it was chaos for us when it came to wedding planning. What with bridal showers, schedules to settle, hair and make-up appointments etc, it was just unbelievable busy! And in between all that, I had a single weekend to finish a super secret video presentation for the lovely couple, to show during their dinner as a surprise!

Since it's super cute, I thought I'd share it with you here too :D

I did the entire video production, from the animation to the music editing. Some of my dear friends (who are credited in the description) did the story planning and the wonderful art. The two animals - the fox and the mouse, are the mascots representing the happy couple. I'm so proud of it, I hope that you would enjoy it too. :)

To clarify, my old alias in the anime/manga community is 'Miaow', although I currently use 'Kyou'. And to end this post, have a glimpse of the beautiful bride and the awesome groom. May the both of you live happily ever after!

New Art and Experiments

New art I did for one of my long term projects [Lab 305]. (5 years and counting!) Her design is based on a black widow spider. The entire composition/pose of the character was based on the sole idea of showing the red hourglass mark on her back, and then I just grow from there. The head piece came out better than I thought! Although, I think I should draw more since I'm way behind on my work list! Eeeek!

And I had been fooling around with the photos for my jewelry for a bit. Trying some new techniques inspired by the amazing SeaUnicorn!! Trying to see if I can create a cohesive photo collection, like... ways to make all of my photos look more coherent? Like it is a collection or something. (am I making sense? Lol)

So below is some of the edits I did for my old photos, please do tell which one you prefer, and your opinion on whether I should change or not.

Your feedbacks would be much appreciated!

Growing Wings

I haven't done a screentoned black and white artwork in a while. This is a commission done for Riley Laurent on DeviantArt, of her original character Riley. I had full artistic license over the outfit so I just went and have fun with it! This artwork reminded me of the manga series D.N.Angel for some unknown reason, must be the feathers, hmm.

Some art to start this off

I've been wanting to start an art blog of sorts in a while, but I never had a reason or got around to. But now that I want to try and establish Skyejuice Design as something (what, I had yet to know) I figured that this is a right time to start one.

I will be posting my digital art, logo designs, (I did that cute logo with the bird on the moon up there on the header!) accessory designs and photographies on occasion here, and perhaps little tidbits of my life; as I don't want to strictly keep this work-related.

A commission I did for someone on DeviantArt! I had a short artblock when I was trying to decide what to put on him, so in the end I decided to just not put anything on him, and it worked out well! The commissioner loves him!

A quick sketch I did for a friend of mine, this is her original character Zeke. He has bright lime green and black hair (although it is only a black and white sketch here) and it was a lot of fun to draw!! :D
