Star Trek Badges!
Yep, I finally gave in to the geeky side of me and made something geeky for the shop!! These Star Trek badges are based from the insignia designs from the original series in the 60s. They are laser cut on bamboo and are quite accurate in size to the original as well. You can now purchase them here, these will be great for that friend that loves Star Trek!! Live long and prosper!

More New Geode Pieces!
More geode pieces! I made some more new rings, however this time I made some simple but ingenious necklaces too with some of the geode slices with holes. They are so simple but gorgeous! Some of the smaller geode pieces that I can't make any jewelry pieces with, I had made into magnets. They are so cute too!
Unfortunately I ran out of supplies for some of these, so for now there won't be anymore geode pieces until I restock. Which hopefully will be soon!

4mm Pearls now in StarJuice!
Finally got around to photograph all of the 4mm pearls, and decided to make a rainbow chart of sorts, haha. I really love this little heart shaped sauce dish, so useful for small beads. As usual, I am in the midst of listing these into my shop. So stay tuned!

Geode Slice Rings
I accumulated quite the amount of geode slices without much forethought, because they are so pretty! And thankfully I finally found a way to sell them - rings! All of the above will be listed in the shop soon, and I'm putting some others in my supply shop too. There are some smaller ones that I couldn't make to rings, and wouldn't fit into the supply shop, but I'll figure out something to do with them soon enough.

Finally Something New!
Just a small update, nothing huge. I'm currently in the middle of adding 6mm pearls into the supply shop Starjuice. A little late I know, but you'd be surprised how difficult it is to find time to take the photos for them! I still have the 4mm versions that I have yet to photograph, but will do soon in the next week or so.
I've been feeling so terrible for the lack of updates to the blog the past two weeks, but it had been so crazily busy that I'm freaking out about work every few days, and my body is taking a toll too. I have a bajillion things to do and not enough time to do it! So many new things that I need to make, current orders to rush, photos to edit, things to write and finalizing the itinerary for the San Francisco trip! I'm getting there though... slowly and surely.
I'll try to update the blog more next week, no promises, but I'll definitely try! Here enjoy photos of these super cute colorful beads I got for Starjuice! Listing them in the shop soon!

New Ombre Earrings!
Just a spur of the moment, I decided to make ombre earrings in more colors! It was quite an interesting challenge to make the new 7 colors, but I had a lot of fun. :)

I finally found what to do with the round cuff links I have! The music note cuff links are my favorite, and I made tons of those! :) I am excited for these, and will be listing these in the shop soon.

New Supplies in StarJuice!
I got my hands on some new pretty lace agate! Beautiful lines, semi-transparent areas where you can see the crystals inside, they are just stunning! They will be listed in the supply shop StarJuice soon, as well as some other new glass beads that I scored recently.

More New Pieces!
I finally got around to do this. The very popular heart locket is now available in other paper colors!! You can look at the 4th photo of the listing for a reference of the color/pattern options. I know I should have done this a long time ago, but I just never got around to it.
Aside from that, I also made quite a few new gemstone pieces! And these will also be listed gradually into the shop soon. I aim to list at least 30 new listings every month for either Skyejuice or StarJuice combined, so we'll see how well that goes. :)

Ice Resin outcome
Belated post. So... I mentioned before that I recently bought ICE resin to play with, and here are the results! :D
I experimented with 4 pendants, and only this one turned out good, the other 3 all failed lol. There is a tiny bubble, but you can barely see it in the picture. :)
Doming is pretty good too. Granted these settings are not exactly deep, but good enough for me. Will try adding one more drop the next time to see if can dome further.
And here are the failed ones. This one I didn't apply enough sealant on the paper so the resin seeped into the paper around the edges. If you look closely you can see the edges have uneven dark spots. Also noted are large bubbles. I guess when I saw the paper darken from the resin, I didn't really cared if there were bubbles or not. One of the other failed ones had exactly the same mistakes as this.Lesson #1. Apply 2-3 layers of sealant AFTER sticking the paper to the pendant setting.
Fail #2. Too greedy lol. I keep adding more and more resin to the pendant, until it totally spilled, hahaha.
The end result of the spillage is pretty interesting though, as it retained the spilled shape. However, I have no idea what to do with this.Lesson #2. Don't be too greedy with the resin. Lol.
I followed a bunch of video tutorials on how to use ICE resin, but I find this particular step-by-step photo tutorial from Beaducation to be pretty useful as well. Just that instead of pouring the resin straight from the cup, I use the stick instead to dribble onto the pendant setting.
I am going to attempt to make more resin pendants this weekend, woohoo! Wish me luck!! :D
