Continuation from the Garden of Osaka Castle post. The building itself had been converted into a museum inside, telling the history of the Osaka Castle. Interesting fact, did you know that this is not the original Osaka Castle? In fact, it's not even sitting on a site where the original one sits. The original one was burnt down to the ground in the mid-1600s. This was a reconstruction they built according to architectural notes, blue prints and artworks that was done at the time. It was built on the same land, surrounded by moats.
