Sneak Peek for the Holiday

A not so little sneak peek of new things coming soon. Yes I am making an army of cuff links haha. ;) I haven't poured resin into these yet, but will soon!

And here's a little something else.

I wonder what will they be?!

Holiday Rejects Giveaway #1

It's been a while since the last rejects giveaway, and I'm bringing it back once every 2 weeks for the holiday season, woohoo! Every giveaway will last for 10 days, and I have a little bit of everything planned for everyone. Looking for something as a stocking stuffer but low on cash? Maybe you could just keep it for yourself as a gift from your's truthfully. ;) Read on for more details!

The first giveaway is for these two lovely pendant necklaces to go with your fall outfit. The first one is the bumble bee necklace, which has some tiny bubbles visible inside the resin. It happens sometimes, and it sucks, but at least I can keep them for giveaways when it does.

The second pendant necklace is with these lovely yellowed autumn leaves, which is totally perfect for fall. There is a bubble visible on the lower left edge, and there is a cluster of tiny bubbles deeper in the resin as well. (which is really very tiny)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE FLAWED/IMPERFECT!!
You will get them as is. I will not entertain complains and I do not accept returns. ;)

Slowly Coming Back

Damn, that hiatus lasted longer than expected. I was so overwhelmed with orders, the duty to care for Patches - the paralyzed cat I rescued back in late June, among other things. That's why I decided to take a break from the blog for a while to get things straighten out and my work in order.

I've learned so much about kitty caring in my long journey in caring for Patches, if you're interested to read about her progress, I have a public photo album on my Facebook that you can read through chronologically. :)

From now on, I think I'll try to update the blog as frequently as I can, and not try to update it everyday like I did for the first half of this year. It was really a taxing endeavor since this is a free blog. At this moment I'm trying to get some things in order, and prepare for the holiday season.

But for now... you can look forward to something. ;)

Around the World - Miami, FL - Piktorama

Once in a while I like to indulge my eyes to colorful, bright pictures. It stirs the creativity so and Piktorama is just the perfect shop for it! Adorable cupcakes with smiley faces, mushrooms with a bright and colorful top among other fun imageries, is just such a delight to look at. The artwork style reminds me of Mika's music video for Lollipop. (fun song btw!) The most amazing thing about her artworks? Some actually only have 4 colors or less. Her screenprinted pieces like the teapot above is one of those, and it's just simple amazing how much you can do with just 4 colors!

Around the World - Miami, FL - Kiss a Bug

I love discovering new shops, and this is definitely one of my favorite finds in a while. Kiss a bug (or kissabug) is a quirky little shop that sells paper dolls with articulated joints. The fun characters are from her Circus Folk series, from Valentina the acrobat to Arthur the ringmaster, and not forgetting Fred the strong man and Rooster, the lad from the flying trapeze as well. I must admit that I am a sucker for this type of simple art style. (and the intriguing subject!) The way the characters are posed suits them so well too, and really screams of their unique personalities and looks. Such a fabulous find, this one!

Around the World - Miami, FL - What. No Mints?

What. No Mints? is a fun little shop that sells all sort of stuff made from felt. Ranging from brooches, ornaments, plushies to hoop arts. My favorite part of the shop? The geeky/nerdy stuff! Like the 'Nerds have more fun' hoop, the microbial biology brooches and the chemistry/sciency ornaments. Just so much fun! I bet you will be able to find fun gifts for that geeky or nerdy friend in this quirky little shop. Aside from the geeky things, she makes animal plus toys too and I really like this little manta ray here. It's really a subject that rarely appears in the crafty circle.
